Slow

“Hurry, make more

Hustle, cut through

Quick, achieve it

Climb, how high?

What can you win?

What can you gain?”

Perform, share, stay original

Work, work, work

Do, do, do”

The voice of lies has spoken

But I no longer agree

It’s now a voice quite different

Aligning me

He says,

“Slow, slowly

Yes, work is good

kept in step with me

I have so much to show you

along the way

But what I want to show you

I can’t, if you won’t stay

So stay, darling stay,

keep in step with me

What does your heart want?

Mine wants you stay

Stay, darling stay

Don’t rush ahead

What does your heart want?

Mine wants you to stay

Stay, stay, slow

Mine wants you to stay”
